This is an amazing story i saw today about 'how art therapy helps deaf people'.
I read this and i could not help myself distributing this amazing story!!!!!
I am simply amazed, impressed, and moved!!!!! .....and i am so proud that art therapy can offer this sort of benefit.
This is a story from Brian, a deaf art therapist in USA, telling about his own experience of being deaf and his work helping deaf kids, who are victims of sexual abuse, using art therapy.
I think it is SO REAL to hear Brian's voice of being a deaf and him helping deaf kids using his own experiences. He also addresses benefit of utilising VISUAL methods specifically for deaf population.
